Oruna Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

Additional information about consumer health data that people may choose to share through Oruna.

Last updated August 24, 2026

PrayMob, Inc., doing business as Oruna (“Oruna,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides a live social prayer platform. People may choose to pray about deeply personal matters, including physical or mental health, addiction or recovery, grief, emotional well-being, disability, treatment, or other health-related experiences.

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice supplements the Oruna Privacy Policy and explains how Oruna handles information that may be considered “consumer health data” under applicable U.S. state consumer health privacy laws. It is intended to be read together with our Privacy Policy. If this Notice and the Privacy Policy differ with respect to consumer health data covered by applicable law, this Notice controls to the extent required by that law.

Oruna is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or medical service, and Oruna is generally not subject to HIPAA merely because users choose to discuss health-related matters in prayer. Oruna does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, clinical care, or crisis intervention.

1. Consumer Health Data We May Collect

Depending on what you choose to share or do on Oruna, consumer health data may include:

  • Health-related information you voluntarily include in prayer requests, prayers, comments, messages, profile information, uploaded media, live prayer audio or video, recordings, replays, or reports.
  • Information concerning physical or mental health conditions, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment, medication, disability, emotional well-being, addiction, sobriety, recovery, grief, or similar health-related experiences that you choose to disclose.
  • Participation or interaction information that may reveal or reasonably relate to a health-related prayer or topic.
  • Information submitted in a safety or moderation report when that report contains health-related information.

Oruna does not require you to publicly disclose health information in order to use the Service. Please avoid sharing another person’s health information without their permission.

2. Sources of Consumer Health Data

We collect consumer health data primarily from you when you voluntarily create, upload, send, stream, or otherwise provide content or interact with health-related prayer content.

We may also receive limited health-related information from another user when, for example, that person submits a prayer request about you, mentions you in content, sends a message, or files a safety report. We may derive limited contextual information from activity within Oruna when necessary to provide the feature the user requested, enforce safety controls, or investigate a report.

Oruna does not purchase consumer health data from data brokers.

3. How We Use Consumer Health Data

We use consumer health data only as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the prayer, messaging, live prayer, replay, participation, and related features you request;
  • display or distribute content according to the audience and privacy choices associated with that content;
  • operate reporting, blocking, moderation, abuse-prevention, safety, and security systems;
  • provide customer or privacy support;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Service;
  • comply with applicable law and valid legal process; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Oruna does not use consumer health data to determine insurance eligibility, employment eligibility, creditworthiness, or access to healthcare.

Oruna does not use health-related prayer content to target paid advertising.

4. Sharing of Consumer Health Data

We may share or make consumer health data available in the following limited circumstances:

  • At your direction or as part of the feature you use. For example, a public prayer request or public live prayer may be visible to other users because you chose to make it public.
  • With service providers that process information on Oruna’s behalf to operate the Service, such as hosting, live audio/video and replay infrastructure, content delivery, messaging/realtime infrastructure, security and diagnostics, and automated moderation providers.
  • With safety, legal, or governmental recipients when reasonably necessary to respond to valid legal process, protect users or others, investigate abuse or security incidents, or comply with law.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of Oruna, subject to applicable law and the protections that apply to the information.

Our current Privacy Policy identifies the service providers used by Oruna and describes their roles in more detail.

Oruna does not sell consumer health data. Oruna does not share consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Public Prayer Content

Oruna is a social prayer service. If you choose to make health-related prayer content public, other users may be able to view, share, or interact with that content according to Oruna’s features.

Other people may also independently screenshot, screen-record, copy, or redistribute public content using tools outside Oruna’s control. Deleting content or your Oruna account may not remove copies independently created or distributed outside Oruna.

Private messages and other non-public content are not made public merely because they are transmitted or stored through Oruna.

6. Location Information

Oruna uses location information for privacy-preserving prayer-map functionality as described in the Oruna Privacy Policy.

Oruna does not receive or store exact GPS coordinates. The application reduces location precision before transmitting location information to Oruna, and public prayer maps do not display exact coordinates, streets, home locations, or precise neighborhoods.

For launch, prayer activity within the United States may be represented by generalized, privacy-preserving dots. Prayer activity outside the United States may be shown only as an aggregate count and is not displayed as individual outside-U.S. location dots.

Oruna does not use location information to infer that you visited a healthcare provider, sought medical treatment, obtained medication, or received a particular health service.

7. Consumer Health Data We Do Not Sell

Oruna does not sell consumer health data.

If Oruna ever proposes to sell consumer health data in a manner regulated by applicable consumer health privacy law, Oruna would first provide any notice and obtain any separate authorization required by law. We do not currently engage in such sales.

8. Your Consumer Health Data Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether Oruna is collecting, using, or sharing consumer health data about you;
  • access consumer health data about you;
  • request deletion of consumer health data;
  • withdraw consent for collection or sharing where processing is based on consent;
  • request a list of third parties or categories of recipients with whom covered consumer health data has been shared, where required by law; and
  • appeal a denial of a consumer health data request where applicable law provides an appeal right.

You may also initiate deletion of your Oruna account from within the app.

To submit a consumer health data privacy request, contact privacy@oruna.live. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights provided by applicable law.

Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law, including for valid legal process, safety and security, fraud or abuse prevention, enforcement, dispute resolution, or legal claims. Information copied or distributed independently by other users outside Oruna may also remain outside our control.

9. Security and Access

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including consumer health data. Access to sensitive information is limited to personnel and service providers who reasonably need it for the purposes described in this Notice and our Privacy Policy.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice as Oruna, applicable law, or our data practices change. If we materially change the categories of consumer health data we collect, the purposes for which we use it, or the categories of parties with whom we share it, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law.

The date at the top of this Notice identifies the current version.
