Community Guidelines

Oruna is a live social prayer app built to help people pray together, respond to prayer requests, experience collective unity, and support one another in real time.

People may come to Oruna carrying grief, fear, addiction, illness, loneliness, family pain, anxiety, shame, recovery needs, or urgent prayer requests. Because of that, Oruna must be a place of care, humility, safety, dignity, and respect.

By using Oruna, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.

1. Pray for people, not against people

Prayer on Oruna should be used to bless, support, encourage, comfort, and lift people up.

You may not use Oruna to pray against, curse, shame, threaten, attack, expose, or target another person or group.

Allowed examples include:

praying for someone’s healing, recovery, peace, strength, protection, or comfort
praying for families, communities, first responders, people in crisis, or people affected by tragedy
praying for someone you disagree with in a respectful way

Not allowed examples include:

prayers asking harm to come to a person or group
prayers used to mock, shame, expose, or humiliate someone
prayers targeting a political enemy, denomination, public figure, private person, religion, or group with hostility
prayers used as gossip, slander, revenge, or manipulation

2. Prayer content must stay prayer-focused

Oruna is for prayer, prayer requests, collective unity, and support.

Users may not use videos, live sessions, comments, or requests to rant, attack people, gossip, argue politics, shame others, or turn Oruna into a general venting feed.

Simple rule:

Requests must ask for prayer. Prayers must be prayer. Live sessions must stay prayer-focused.

A prayer request does not have to be written as a prayer, but it must clearly ask for prayer or support through prayer.

Allowed prayer requests:

“Please pray for my family.”
“I’m struggling with sobriety today. Can someone pray for me?”
“Please go live and pray over this. I need peace.”
“My dad is sick. Please pray for healing and strength.”

Not enough by itself:

“My family is awful and I’m angry.”
“I hate my job and everyone around me.”
“Here is a long rant about my situation.”

Those may reflect real pain, but Oruna is not a general rant feed. To belong on Oruna, the post should be framed as a prayer request, prayer, or collective support.

Live sessions should be focused on praying for yourself, praying for someone else, praying for a request, leading others in prayer, or supporting people in need.

Not allowed live sessions include:

ranting with no prayer focus
attacking, shaming, or gossiping about others
political arguments or culture-war commentary
therapy, medical, legal, financial, or crisis advice presented as prayer
manipulating viewers through fear, shame, guilt, or pressure
using live prayer to exploit vulnerable people

If a live session stops being prayer-focused, Oruna may end the live, remove the replay, limit distribution, or restrict the account.

3. Keep Oruna safe, respectful, and non-abusive

Do not post, stream, message, comment, or upload content that includes:

harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation
hate speech or demeaning attacks based on protected traits, religion, beliefs, identity, or background
threats of violence or encouragement of violence
sexually explicit content or sexual exploitation
graphic violence or shocking content
scams, spam, impersonation, or fraud
doxxing or sharing someone’s private information
content that exploits vulnerable people
repeated unwanted contact after someone has blocked you or asked you to stop

Child safety: abuse and exploitation are prohibited

Oruna, operated by PrayMob, Inc., prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This applies to profiles, posts, images, messages, comments, live prayers, replays, and other use of Oruna. A child is anyone under 18.

Do not create, upload, request, share, promote, or direct others to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Do not groom or sexually solicit a child, sexualize a child, threaten a child with intimate images, or facilitate child sex trafficking. These restrictions also apply to computer-generated material depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.

Use the report action on the relevant profile or content to report a child-safety concern inside Oruna. Choose Child-safety concern, add only the context needed for review, and tap Send report. Do not repost suspected abusive images or videos to make a report.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. An Oruna report is not an emergency service.

4. Oruna is open, but not anything-goes

Oruna is an open prayer platform. We do not police every word someone uses when praying, but we do enforce whether content is prayer-focused, respectful, non-coercive, and safe.

Users may not use Oruna for:

spiritual abuse
coercive control
hate toward other religions or traditions
manipulative claims of religious or spiritual authority
guaranteed promises of healing, sobriety, deliverance, money, or miracles
content that presents harmful claims as official Oruna teaching
recruiting, condemning, or attacking others under the cover of prayer

5. No political attacks or culture-war targeting

Oruna is not a platform for political warfare.

You may pray for leaders, communities, nations, peace, wisdom, healing, unity, safety, justice, and people affected by public events.

You may not use Oruna to attack political opponents, promote hatred, organize harassment, or turn prayer into a weapon against people or groups.

6. Prayer is not emergency, medical, therapy, legal, or financial help

Oruna can be a place to ask for prayer, encouragement, and support. It is not a replacement for emergency services, medical care, mental health treatment, legal advice, financial advice, professional counseling, or crisis intervention.

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call local emergency services right away.

If you are in the United States and thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Do not use Oruna to give medical, legal, financial, clinical, or crisis-intervention advice as a substitute for professional care.

7. No exploitation, fundraising abuse, or manipulation

Do not use Oruna to exploit people spiritually, emotionally, sexually, financially, or socially.

You may not:

pressure people for money
promise healing, miracles, deliverance, sobriety, favor, or breakthrough in exchange for payment
manipulate vulnerable people through fear, shame, or guilt
claim special authority over another user in a coercive or controlling way
impersonate a pastor, ministry, organization, nonprofit, public figure, therapist, counselor, doctor, recovery leader, or Oruna representative
misrepresent your credentials, role, organization, or training
use prayer requests to harvest personal information
solicit users off-platform in unsafe or exploitative ways

Oruna may not be used primarily to solicit money, promote personal financial gain, or exploit prayer and spiritual support for commercial benefit. Fundraising, donations, or other financial features specifically authorized by Oruna may be permitted through designated product features and are subject to Oruna’s Terms and applicable rules.

Creators, recovery leaders, organizations, and other approved accounts may use Oruna tools according to Oruna’s Terms, product rules, and applicable laws.

8. Respect privacy and personal dignity

Oruna is a social app. Public prayers, public prayer requests, public replays, public profiles, and public activity may be visible or shareable according to the app’s features.

However, users may not share, expose, screenshot, repost, or distribute private messages, private group content, private user information, sensitive personal details, non-public prayer requests without permission.

Do not use Oruna content to harass, shame, embarrass, identify, track, threaten, or exploit another person.

Many prayer requests involve sensitive personal pain. Treat them carefully.

9. Location and heatmap privacy

Oruna may show prayer activity on maps to help people see that others are praying with them.

Public heatmaps do not show exact GPS coordinates, street addresses, home locations, or precise neighborhoods.

City-level heatmaps may display privacy-preserving representative dots within a selected city or region. These dots are generalized visual indicators showing that someone in that city or region is praying.

Do not use Oruna maps or location features to identify, locate, track, harass, or contact someone against their will.

10. Live prayer and recording

Live prayers may be recorded so they can be made available for replay.

Before a recorded live prayer begins, the prayer leader receives a recording disclosure and affirmatively starts the recorded session through the applicable Oruna control. Oruna provides a clear visual and/or audible indication while the prayer leader's audio or video is being recorded.

Simply watching or praying along does not mean Oruna is recording a viewer's camera, microphone, or surroundings.

A viewer's participation may still be visible according to Oruna's features, including through a profile or privacy-preserving prayer activity indicator.

Do not join, host, or participate in live prayer in a way that violates these Guidelines, exposes private information, harasses others, or creates unsafe situations.

Oruna may end, remove, restrict, or review live prayers or replays that violate these Guidelines or create safety concerns.

11. Reporting and blocking content

You can report content, users, messages, comments, prayer requests, live prayers, or replays that you believe violate these Guidelines.

You can also block users. Blocking helps prevent unwanted direct interaction and limits visibility where Oruna can enforce it.

Reporting does not guarantee a specific outcome, but Oruna reviews reports according to its safety process and may take action when content or behavior violates these Guidelines.

12. Enforcement

Oruna may take action when these Guidelines are violated, including:

removing content
limiting distribution
disabling comments, messages, live access, or replay access
ending a live prayer
warning a user
suspending or banning an account
removing creator, organization, or prayer leader privileges
reporting serious threats or illegal activity to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate

We may consider context, severity, history, risk of harm, and whether behavior is repeated.

Some actions may happen quickly in urgent situations, especially during live prayer or when there is a threat of harm.

13. Account deletion and user control

Members can initiate account deletion in the app. Deletion may affect profile information, prayers, comments, messages, media, recordings, memberships, heatmap activity, and related account data, subject to Oruna’s Terms, Privacy Policy, and any limited legal or safety retention requirements.

14. Our standard

Oruna is built for prayer, connection, collective unity, and support.

Use the app as if the person on the other side may be carrying something heavy.

Pray with humility. Speak with care. Protect the vulnerable. Do not weaponize prayer. Help people know they are not alone.
